Students For Justice In Palestine Occupy Wall Street

As the Students for Justice in Palestine Conference held its closing session at Columbia University on October 16th many students and alumni who had not yet flown out of New York decided to make their way to Wall Street, myself being one of them. There were some 30 SJP attendees present that evening; as we left Wall Street we walked by chanting “Occupy Wall Street, Palestine Must Be Free” while carrying our Palestinian flags.

The experience was memorable and I would like to personally thank all those involved in bringing Palestine to Columbia University – and Wall Street.
