Inspired by the brilliant Shit Liberals Say To Radicals, I have created a listed of Shit Liberals Say, and filed them according to topic:

Obama
1. Obama’s drones-wars are unconstitutional, unashamed war-crimes but think of the alternative
2. The National Defense Authorization Act is unconstitutional, extrajudicial detainment is indefensible but what else could Obama do?
3. Obama has to clean up the mess left over from the previous administration; give him a chance.
4. It’s [everything Obama does which violates human rights, US constitutional et al.] too complicated.
5. Obama is going to comply with all the promises he made, so long as we give him another term.
6. Obama is the lesser evil. I want a better candidate but there just isn’t one, so I’m voting for him.
7. You’re trying to make indefinite detention sound like it’s a bad thing.
8. Obama is silent on Bahrain and Yemen because he chooses not to interfere in the inner conflict of another country.
9. Obama has good intentions.
10. You know, criticizing Obama doesn’t really solve anything.

Palestine
1. Where is the Palestinian Gandhi?
2. What about Hamas?
3. Sure I supported armed Libyan rebels but Palestinians should remain non-violent at all costs.
4. Israeli-only roads are apartheid in nature, yes, but Israel is not an apartheid state.
5. Well, there’s two sides to this story. It’s not that easy to take a position.
6. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.
7. Palestinians throwing rocks are counterproductive, violent and not an asset to their movement.
8. I can’t come out in support of Palestine because they haven’t chosen the path of nonviolent resistance.
9. I support a two-state solution.
10. The Palestine-Israel conflict is a religious one.

War
1. Foreign intervention is oftentimes a necessary evil.
2. I support the troops, just not the wars.
3. US foreign policy, under Obama, is far too complicated for one to take a black or white stand against.
4. The occupation of Iraq is over, can’t we just move on now?
5. We had to bomb them to protect them.
6. Anti-imperialists are unrealistic.
7. So you’re against drones? Would you rather we invade them then?
8. I’m against war, primarily because of how much it costs us – financially speaking.
9. The Obama administration will close Guantánamo Bay, eventually. He just needs one more run.
10. Counter-terrorism.

General
1. Well, what about reverse discrimination?
2. What has protesting ever done to solve anything anyways?
3. Socialism looks better on paper.
4. Anarchy is just senseless chaos.

6. If you don’t vote then you have no say.
7. What do you mean you’re not voting along partisan lines? So, you’re throwing your vote away, basically.
8. Why can’t immigrants just enter the US legally?
